Há já algum tempo que eu queria experimentar fazer um " string block", tenho tantas tiras que restaram de outros trabalhos e elas pareciam estar a chamar por mim. Então procurei um tutorial na internet e deitei mãos-à-obra. Foi num instante que fiz um bloco.
It's been a while since I wanted to do something about all those scraps from other projects. I could'nt just leave them in a box. Therefor I searched the internet for a String block tutorial and rushed to my sewing room. The first block was made in a whisker....

O trabalho é fácil, bonito e é uma maneira muito prática de aproveitas as sobras de outros trabalhos. O tecido é caro e não se pode deitar fora. Não acham?
It's a really easy project and a nice way to use all the leftovers from other quilts. Fabric is rather expensive and we can't just throw it away. Don't you think?

The blocks are beautiful. I love the scrapy look and they look fun and easy to make. Yep, with the price of fabric is nice to use it all up.
